I recently graduated from UBC's Midwifery Program (2026) and feel fortunate to have spent the past four years learning from experienced midwives across British Columbia while caring for families in the Comox Valley. Before becoming a midwife, I worked in healthcare for over 20 years and led a global health non-profit organization.
Through both my humanitarian work abroad and my healthcare experience in Canada, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that compassionate, holistic care can have during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. These experiences continue to shape my approach to midwifery, supporting families with empathy, respect, and evidence-based care.
