CHRISTY RAYNOLDS, RM
I have been a Registered Midwife since 2008, and left the Comox Valley to help establish a new midwifery practice in the Okanagan Valley. More than a decade later, I have happily returned to my home town of Courtenay, where my partner and I grew up, and our two children were born.
I especially love providing care to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and life situations. I am grateful to be a trusted source of information, support and professional pregnancy and birth care. I am passionate about people feeling empowered in their health care experiences and strive to assist folks of all backgrounds and beliefs, gender and sexual orientations, to feel comfortable and safe and that they are well cared for through their childbearing experience.
In my time away from work, I enjoy gardening, pottery, knitting, and exploring the beaches and forests of the island.
