LISA SUTHERLAND, RM, IBCLC
Lisa is a Registered Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She works in the Comox Valley as a locum midwife to support the community midwives to take leave from their practices to care for their families and themselves.
She also works at Perinatal Services BC, the provincial organization that supports our health system to provide high-quality services across BC related to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and newborn care.
Lisa lives in Merville with her partner, two kids, two dogs, two bunnies and 12 chickens. She loves to spend time outdoors gardening, hiking, swimming and daydreaming. Cooking is her other passion and hosting family and friends for dinner parties is her great joy.
When acting as a locum Lisa is committed to spending time getting to know her clients, to listening closely to their preferences and to actively supporting them and their families.
