SHERISSE ROSEBOOM, RM
Sherisse (they/them) has been practicing midwifery since 2022.
They are a settler of Dutch and Scandinavian ancestry, and they are grateful to offer midwifery care on the traditional, unceded territory of the K'omoks First Nations. They aim to provide compassionate and accessible midwifery so that every person in their care feels seen and supported. They have particular interests in trauma-informed care and harmreduction, the intersection of neurodivergence and parenting, and the role of rural midwives in climate collapse.
Sherisse is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. In their downtime, they enjoy meditating, weight-lifting, video gaming and adding to their tattoo collection.
